De Damocraft 2000 “Bald Eagle” is het grootste schip uit de serie van Damocraft visboten en heeft met zijn naam een mooie verwijzing naar de grootste visjager van Nederland; de zeearend. Ondanks zijn lengte van 6 m en een breedte van 2,41 m1 is de Damocraft 2000 prima te traileren en is de boot ook bij uitstek geschikt als familieboot en heeft een maximale motorisering van 250 pk (183,6 kW).
De boot wordt gefabriceerd onder CE-keur categorie C. De Damocraft 2000 is hiermee ontworpen voor het varen in kustwateren, riviermondingen, baaien, meren en rivieren tot en met windkracht 6 op de schaal van Beaufort en een golfhoogte van maximaal 2 meter, kortom dit schip is bij uitstek geschikt voor elke visserij en recreatieve toepassingen. Ondanks de afmetingen van de Damocraft 2000 blijft het schip zeer wendbaar en heeft een geringe diepgang. Het toepassen van een delta tap zorgt voor een verbeterde stabiliteit bij een hoge snelheid en een maximaal getrimde boot.
In de indeling van het schip zit alle ervaring die Damocraft inmiddels heeft opgedaan. Er is een grote hengelkast aanwezig waarin maar liefst 8 hengels kunnen worden opgeborgen. Onder de hengelkast zit een opbergruimte voor accu’s voor een fronttroller. In totaal is het schip voorzien van 9 opbergruimtes met luiken en 2 toegangsluiken.
Als optie kan het schip beschikken over een in de vloer geplaatste brandstoftank van aluminium met een tankcapaciteit van ca 180 liter!!! De Damocraft 2000 is leverbaar als Tiller- en als Consoleversie. Het schip kan tevens voorzien worden van een verlenging van het achterdek waardoor er ook 2 extra bergruimten met luiken ontstaan.

The Damocraft 2000 “Bald Eagle” is the largest ship in the Damocraft fishingboats series and its name is a nice reference to the largest fish hunterin the Netherlands; the bald eagle. Despite its length of 6 m and a width of 2.41 m1, the Damocraft 2000 is easy to trail and the boat is also ideally suited as a family boat and has a maximum motor capacityof 250 hp (183.6 kW). The boat is manufactured under the CE category C certificate. The Damocraft 2000 is designed for sailing in coastal waters, estuaries, bays, lakes and rivers up to and including wind force 6 on the Beaufort scale and a wave height of up to 2 meters. The damocraft 2000is ideally suited for all fishing and recreational applications. Despite the dimensions of the Damocraft 2000, the ship remains very maneuverable and has a shallow draft. Applying a delta tap provides improved stability at a high speed and maximum trimmedboat.
Thelayout of the ship displays all the experience that Damocraft has gained in the meantime. There is a large fishing rod box applied in which no less than 8 rods can be stored. There is a storage compartment for batteries for a front trollerapplied underneath the fishing rod case. In total, the ship has 9 storage spaces with hatches and 2 access doors.
The ship can be executed as an option with an aluminum fuel tank placed in the floor with a tank capacity of about 180 liters !!! The Damocraft 2000 is available asTiller or Console version. The ship can also be provided with an extension of the rear deck, which also creates 2 additional storage spaces with hatches.
